The accounting profession is pretty good about community service and “giving back.” We all read and hear so much about public accounting firms and corporate accounting departments participating in charity events, planting trees, helping Habitat for Humanity, etc. Firms large and small do these things, rarely seeking any sort of credit or acknowledgement. The Curator tips his hat to all participants on this Friday morning.
If you haven’t done anything like this in a while at your firm, see what you can stir up. Heck, even if it’s only taking part in a blood drive, it’s something. Of course, when I give blood, it’s really just all about the cookies at the end…..
