Rolling the Dice or Playing to Win?

What is the “Winning” series of conferences? Going on right now in Las Vegas is the “Winning Clients is Everything” event. This conference isn’t about everything, nor is it a show about nothing; it’s focused on marketing, sales and the expansion of firms. The point of this post, especially if you’re not at the event, is to put marketing, sales and expansion of your firm (or respective book of business) on the front burner–if it’s not already.

Dovetailing off the “Winning is Everything” blockbuster that I attended last January, the event taking place today and tomorrow features industry heavyweights Allan Koltin, Gale Crosley, John Jantsch and other thought leaders. Actually, now that I think about it, I’m really not all that jazzed about the term “thought leader.” The connotation, to me, is that a thought leader sits around creating “big picture” concepts and little else. On the contrary, these people are not only thought leaders, they’re DO-ERS.

Created for firms of all sizes, “Winning Clients is Everything” is designed to help accounting firm leaders drill down on the key aspects of firm growth–and attract, close and keep clients. Not much stays status quo these days; you’re either winning or you’re losing. What’s it gonna be, Mac?
